Vectos Cardiff Charity Quiz raises £6,300 for Ty Hafan
We’re excited to announce that we exceeded the £5,000 target and our fundraising efforts last year for the Cardiff charity quiz event, raising over £6,300 for Ty Hafan!
More than 100 property industry guests gathered at our event on the 19th of October to test their knowledge, network with industry peers and most importantly raise money for a wonderful charity. Congratulations to the Wardell Armstrong team for winning this years' title in a tiebreaker with Scott Brownrigg.
Vectos Regional Director Ian Southwell was compère for the evening and organised the event with Principal Transport Planner Cerian Phillips and Senior Transport Planner Ellen Axon.
“We have once again been blown away by the level of enthusiasm and want to thank the companies who supported us as well as the individuals who donated on the night through the raffle – your generosity has been incredible,” Ian said.
“Many guests who attended have supported us in all three years; without you all the event could not have been the success it now is.”
Ty Hafan Ambassador Lindsay Doyle thanked Vectos for choosing to support Ty Hafan.
"We are completely amazed by the amount of money raised; both Natalie and I were lost for words. The Vectos team did such a fantastic job and it was wonderful to see how well supported you were at the event," he said.
"The donation will provide much-needed positive experiences to life-limited children in Wales. In real terms it will pay for all the medical supplies used at the hospice for a month as well as providing a family with five days of short break care at the hospice, giving the parents some much-needed rest.
"We would also welcome any of the staff and guests to join us for a hospice tour if they would like to see what the donation will be used for."
