Vectos celebrates first anniversary in the South West
Vectos is celebrating its first anniversary since commencing operations in Bristol and Exeter.
Board Director Neil Brant said he is delighted to have reached this milestone in such a good position.
“It’s hard to believe that it’s been a year since we opened our doors and it is fantastic to have so much continued positivity from our clients and the industry in general. It has been a hugely successful time for us; we have been instructed on 125 projects and have acted on 25,000 homes.
“The openings and addition of our Flood Risk, Hydrology and Sustainable Drainage capability have added to Vectos’ immense depth of knowledge and experience.
“While based in the South West and having a significant regional presence spanning from Cornwall up to the south Midlands, we are also very active nationwide including schemes in Liverpool, the east Midlands and across in to Kent and Cambridgeshire. We are also assisting on inter-office projects, providing a more comprehensive service to our UK-wide clients from the outset, ultimately maximising the development potential of schemes.”
Regional Director Jonathan Lloyd said that it has been a lot of hard work, but the rewards have certainly made it worthwhile.
“The response has been greater than we ever expected – our project appointments and successes to date have put us in good stead, we have some very interesting opportunities in the pipeline providing a promising outlook, and we’ve hired three new staff to complement our team since opening,” he said.
“Neil and I had high expectations, but these have been surpassed, and it comes down to the incredible support we have received throughout the industry as well as the quality of our team and their professional standing in the industry. I’m looking forward to seeing what successes the next year will bring!”
While our projects have been predominantly residential, our experience spans the education and healthcare; energy, waste and renewables; masterplanning and mixed-use; sports and leisure; town centres; and retail sectors. Some of the key schemes that we are currently acting on include:
- West of England Spatial Plan strategic sites promotion
- Liverpool Central major regeneration scheme
- Kingsbridge & Liskeard town centres regeneration
- Mulberry Park Phase II regeneration
- Tintagel Castle pedestrian footbridge
- 2 x public inquiries
- 1 x village shared space
