Phase 1 will comprise 2,350 sqm commercial floor space and includes both replacement parking for Siemens and new parking for the proposed commercial unit. The proposed commercial unit will be located to the south of the site and accessed directly onto Barlow Moor Road, via the existing access.
Phase 2 will comprise up to 92 residential units (Class C3) and 189 car parking spaces accessed off Nell Lane.
Phase 3 will is intended to comprise a multi-storey car park (MSCP) for up to 526 parking spaces. The quantum of parking spaces to be delivered will be proportionate the amount of commercial floor space and full justification will be provided within future detailed planning applications.
Phase 4 is intended to comprise up to 8,201 sqm (GEA) commercial floor space, while Phase 5 is intended to comprise up to 6,561 sqm (GEA) commercial floor space.
Vectos is continuing to provide strategic transport planning advice to this major regeneration scheme on the iconic Siemens site in Manchester. As well as preparing a Transport Assessment and Travel Plan to support the application, Vectos have also input into the Environmental Impact Assessment.
